Meet Our Team
Craig Barnard, President
Craig is a native Oregonian with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Oregon. He has a strong technology and entrepreneur background from his involvement with growing a start-up PC manufacturer in the 1980's from four employees to two hundred and fifty seven employees. Between 1991 and 1999 he worked as a Retail Leasing Agent in Portland for two international commercial real estate companies. After eight years of experience in shopping center leasing and tenant representation he founded Barnard Commercial Real Estate.
Craig is the Principal Broker, he is licensed in the state of Oregon and the state of Washington.
Craig's wife, Teresa Barnard, is the State Farm Insurance agent for Lake Oswego. Together with their four children they enjoy basketball, skiing and boating.

Ashley Rhea, VP of Marketing
Ashley is a native Oregonian and is the oldest of Craig Barnard's four children. She graduated from Oregon State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and a minor in Entrepreneurship. During school she was an active participant in both of her parent's companies from their start in the late 1990's, Barnard Commercial Real Estate and Teresa Barnard's State Farm Insurance Agency. She specializes in all aspects of marketing and operations for Barnard Commercial Real Estate.
Ashley is a licensed broker in the state of Oregon.
In her spare time she enjoys running her small fine arts business where she specializes in acrylic painting and is often privately commissioned for work. Paul Miller, Broker
Paul Miller graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Interpersonal Communication. He started at Barnard Commercial in 2005 and owes his success to hard work and the ability to find win-win solutions for his tenants and landlords.
Paul is a licensed broker in the state of Oregon.

Chris Hayes, Broker
Chris is a native Oregonian with a Bachelor of
Science from Oregon State University in Exercise Science. He has a strong
background in sales, marketing, management, and negotiating, as he spent 17
years in the fitness industry as a club manager, district vice president, and
co-owner of several clubs. Chris
acquired his real estate license in 2006 and practiced as a generalist before
joining Barnard Commercial Real Estate to specialize in retail leasing for both
landlords and tenants.

Darragh Giltinan, Sales Associate
Darragh was born in Cork, Ireland, and moved to the United States when he was 9 years old. He has lived in Oregon for the last 5 years and Portland has now become his favorite place to live. Darragh is finishing up his college undergraduate degree at University College Cork with a major in Economics and a minor in Mathematics and Statistics.
His interests outside the office include exercising, automobiles, volunteering, spending time with family and friends, and expanding on his marketing ideas.

Griffin Cadwell, Sales Associate
Griff is a native Oregonian and graduated from Oregon State University. He started at Barnard Commercial in the summer of 2008 and is currently working on obtaining his real estate license in the state of Oregon. He has been an asset to our team in assisting with behind the scene's operations and support for all of the brokers.
In his spare time he enjoys playing sports, camping and spending time with friends and family.
